NYPD says one of two vans stolen from a World Trade Center contractor has been found.

Police officials had been investigating two thefts and a third in New Jersey because of unconfirmed threats that al-Qaida was planning a car bomb attack. But police reiterated Sunday that they'd found no evidence linking the thefts to a terrorist plot.

Two dark green Chevy vans had been stolen this month from a construction group. The company has been involved in recovery work at the site and is doing roadwork near 1 World Trade Center.

One of its vans was recovered late Saturday on a residential block in Queens. The other is still missing. Also on the missing list is a white van stolen from a storage company in Jersey City, N.J.
