New rules at the Federal Communications Commission make data that's always been public about who is buying TV airtime during campaigns easier to access. Instead of having to visit the offices of every TV station to look at paper records, stations are starting to be required to provide electronic copies that the FCC is posting online. Kathy Kiely, managing editor of the Sunlight Foundation, will discuss how to find the reports, what is in them that you can't get from the Federal Election Commission, and what's not yet being posted online. This class is free. Register at http://www.press.org/events/air-wars

This class will cover both print and web skills. The class is free for NPC members and $10 for non-members. Register at http://www.press.org/events/write-tight
