First Friday! Music + Bronx Seaside Trolley

This Friday, August 3

5:30-8:30 p.m.

Join us for an evening with Bronx native Bobby Sanabria and his Latin jazz band.
Delight in the music, tour the mansion, stroll the garden, ride the free Bronx
Seaside trolley, and more!

Five-time Grammy nominee Bobby Sanabria is a percussionist, composer, arranger,
conductor, educator, and bandleader who has performed and recorded with such legends
as Dizzy Gillespie, Tito Puente, and Mongo Santamaría--to name just a few. In 2011
the Jazz Journalists Association named him percussionist of the year.

Bobby Sanabria at BPMM is co-sponsored by the Bronx Music Heritage Center. BMHC,
part of WHEDco (Women's Housing and Economic Development) celebrates the rich musical
legacy of the Bronx. Its planned community performance and event space will include
nearly 300 affordable apartments with live/work space set aside for elder musicians,
a school, a rooftop garden, and recreational space.

Join us for what's sure to be a wonderful evening!

The trolley makes a continuous loop from the BX29 stop at the #6 Pelham Bay Park
subway station to Bartow-Pell to City Island. View trolley schedule. [http://r20.rs6.net/tn.jsp?e=001GNwrsNwZ_aqQo8Q0VTSUVV5P7xCDELtmb0sd0OBt…]
