Campus Safety

Submitted by ub on

The recent death and arrest at UT has millions of students and family members weighing their options about where to spend the next four years of their lives safely.

Most turn to premier college rankings guides that offer data on US colleges and universities. But they may be missing the boat by not including a critical piece of data that would easily provide a much needed safety profile for school rankings. For example the total amounts of reported crimes and how likely will a student, faculty, or staff member experience another violent act, or assault. Unfortunately, none of these guidelines sufficiently answers these important questions, or personal concerns.
