HAZARDOUS TRAVEL CONDITIONS

The New York City Office of Emergency Management has issued a Hazardous Travel Advisory for Mon, February 3.

The National Weather Service has expects 3 to 5 inches of snow accumulation through Monday evening. Light snow will develop in the morning with the heavy snow.

Snow will begin to taper off by the early evening. Temperatures will be in the 30s. The Department of Sanitation has issued a Snow Alert for Mon, February 3.

The plow tracker will be available at nyc.gov/severeweather in the morning.

The New York City Department of Transportation, in conjunction with the Department of Sanitation, announced that Alternate Side Parking Regulations will be suspended citywide for tomorrow, Mon, February 3, to facilitate winter weather preparations. Payment at parking meters will remain in effect throughout the City.

The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Warning citywide until 7:00 PM on Monday, February 3rd. The current forecast calls for 5-8 inches of snow. Visibilities are expected to be approximately one quarter mile or less at times.
