"Brookgreen Gardens and the Bronx: Connected by Sculpture" presented by Robin R. Salmon, Vice President for Collections and Curator of Sculpture, Brookgreen Gardens.

The connections between South Carolina's Brookgreen Gardens and the Bronx, New York are many and are related to the vision and generosity of two individuals - Archer and Anna Hyatt Huntington. The talk will focus on sculptors who lived, worked and were laid to rest in the Bronx and whose artworks are located there today. Most of these sculptors are also represented in the renowned collection of Brookgreen Gardens, the first public sculpture gardens in America, funded by the Huntingtons in 1931.
