Informed Delivery?

USPS is offering e-mail, seriously? If you cant beat them, join them. The post office is making available a new service that lets US SEE WHAT'S COMING. We will be able to see our household mail, even while traveling.

Participate in this new USPS service enhancement test and get images of the mail that will be placed in your mailbox each day. Black and white images of your actual letter-sized mail pieces, processed by USPS sorting equipment, will be provided to you each morning. Flat-sized pieces, such as catalogs or magazines, may be added in the future. Participation is limited to certain ZIP Codes ™ at this time.

Get up to 10 mail piece images in your morning email, which can be viewed on any computer or a smart phone. Get more mail than that? Additional images are available for viewing on your online dashboard - in the same place you track your packages! Don't worry if you are on travel; if you have email or online access, you can see much of the mail that will be delivered to your mailbox. Be the first in your block to block bills before arrival.

As a My USPS ™ enrolled user, you may already be participating in the service if the address in your usps.com profile is in an area where we currently offer the Informed Delivery service. If you are not enrolled for My USPS ™ (which provides package tracking and mail hold services), live in a participating ZIP Code ™ location, and are interested in receiving notifications, you can sign-up at https://realmail.usps.com/ . Upon clicking Sign Up you will be taken through the process to register for a USPS ® account. Taking this step will automatically enroll you for Informed Delivery notifications if eligible.
