Too many corporations think about marketing to the 55 million strong Latino Market during Hispanic Heritage month or try on Cinco de Mayo.

However, these companies have put their money where their mouth is for Latino market. We'd like to call them our top "Three Amigos" aka The Three Caballeros 1944
AT&T “Between Two Worlds”
AT&T’s #BetweenTwoWorlds is the Hispanic movement in their expansive social media campaign #TheMobileMovement, which launched earlier this year. The company began the Hispanic operation in July 2014 as an opportunity to connect and engage bicultural Latinos, particularly digital-savvy millennials.
#BetweenTwoWorlds focuses on the lives of young acculturated Hispanics between their teens and mid-30s, who easily identify with both mainstream U.S. culture and their Latino background. Accompanying the #TheMobileMovement is a Tumblr page similarly featuring Spanglish posts. The two hashtags can also be found on Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram.

Dunkin Donuts “Dunkin' Latino”
As of June 2014, Dunkin’ Donuts launched its Latino Twitter page, looking to cater to the company’s Spanish speakers. Last year, Dunkin’ Donuts also claimed to be the first national coffee retailer to make its website, mobile, and Facebook platforms available in Spanish and English.
With the social media campaign launch, there was a brief sweepstakes. Fans could follow @DunkinLatino and use the hashtag #MiDunkinEsTuDunkin to enter a chance to win a $100 Dunkin’ Donuts gift card for themselves and a friend. The brand is now supporting their digital Hispanic movement with hashtags such as #MiDunkin and #DunkinLatino.

McDonald’s “Me Encanta”
Back in 2011, McDonald’s introduced its Spanish-language Twitter campaign. @MeEncanta is a Spanglish-based account used to interact with fans about promotional deals through music, sports and education.
McDonald’s Latino movement is currently engaging its online audience with its hashtag #MiMomento. The hashtag, however, has not seemed to catch on yet with many of the posts coming from unrelated tweets.

VIDEO BODY CAMERAS

Issue

Body-worn cameras reduced the use of force by roughly 60 percent in Oakland, California, and the department
reported 18 months without an officer-involved shooting, in a city that used to average about eight such incidents a year.1

In Mesa, Arizona, police reported 75% fewer use of force complaints and a 50% decline in citizen complaints
during a body-worn camera pilot.2

Latino Vote

Issue

Are #HispanosUnidosdeAmerica Latinos united? According to The AP, It's a persistent paradox in American politics: Many Hispanic families have an immense personal stake in what happens on Election Day, but despite population numbers that should mean political power, Hispanics often can't vote, aren't registered to vote, or simply choose to sit out.

Top Countries

Issue

The United Nations lists Norway, Australia, Switzerland, Denmark and Netherlands as the top five counties to live. Not America, but Scandinavia’s reputation is still going strong.

Norway maintains the top spot of the Human Development Index rankings in a report released by the UN. The index was designed in 1990 to give a fuller picture of livability by combining income data with health and education statistics instead of ranking countries on economic achievement alone.

As noted, Australia and Switzerland took second and third place. The U.S. ranked number eight. The bottom five countries in rank order of HDI are: Niger, Central African Republic, Eritrea, Chad and Burundi. There is twice as wide a range in HDI values among the bottom five countries compared to the top five, which indicates that countries with the highest HDIs have similar human development while countries at the bottom vary much
more.

The Human Development Report is an editorially independent publication of the United Nations Development Program. For free downloads of the 2015 Human Development Report, plus additional reference materials on its indices and specific regional implications, please visit: http://hdr.undp.org

Idiots or Innocents?

Issue

These terms may apply to an individual, a small or large group of people. I personally watched this unravel with the latter. Today is Sunday, Jan. 1, the first day of 2017 with what could turn out to be 364 global crazed days to follow.

He was a rebel leader who led a successful revolt against the establishment was ready to exercise a triumphal victory with his forces as he prepared to move into the capital.

HURRICANES

Problem

The hurricane season begins 6/1/16 and ends 11/30/16. Is your mitigation and if that fails, a disaster response strategy in place? If you've experienced a hurricane, then you know why I am posting this.

Hurricane season officially starts next week for storms that form in the eastern Pacific Ocean, but more notably, it's also the start of Hurricane Awareness Week. The National Weather Service says is the best time to prepare for a potential hit from a tropical storm or hurricane.

We Don't Need No Stinking... Bill A Wall?

Issue

How did we go from Build a wall and make Mexico pay for it to Bill a wall to US taxpayers?
Is it possible that the American taxpayer will lose health care and be billed for a border wall instead?

Mexico was supposed to pay for Trump's wall. Now that they won't, will Congress cut health care and Medicaid to fund the wall? Is this stinking wall more important than the health, welfare, and education of every US citizen?

Don't give any more tax money to rich people and corporations. Funds should no longer go towards military spending.

9/11

Issue

Much has been written and many theories have developed by people commemorating the September 11 attacks of 2001 on The World Trade Center in NYC. The following images may be able to either shine a light on the events of September 11, or cloud the issues surrounding this fateful day for US.

On the 14th anniversary of the attacks, video versions continue to develop supporting various viewpoints on this day of terror.

Terrible 3

Problem

If you want to be happy for the rest of your life... It has nothing to do with pretty or ugly.
https://youtu.be/7myjFBwDlIk

It is all about respect and admiration. You must also avoid:

Choosing the wrong partner. A lot of people choose somebody for the wrong reasons. Have a solid foundation in the relationship so that the partnership can continue when some of the other factors start to erode.

Lack of communication. It's important to resolve disagreements immediately and not allow resentment to build. Take time to right any wrongs and never go to bed angry with each other.

Hurricane Irma

Issue

There's nothing sober, gentle, or sedate about Irma's arrival to the US mainland. As the category 4 hurricane begins an assault on Key West, it is expected to take its time drenching the Florida flatlands.

If there is anyone in the area and finds the winds going calm, you're in the eye, but do not go out. Stay inside! Winds dramatically shift and will do so violently! STAY PUT
