Too many corporations think about marketing to the 55 million strong Latino Market during Hispanic Heritage month or try on Cinco de Mayo.

However, these companies have put their money where their mouth is for Latino market. We'd like to call them our top "Three Amigos" aka The Three Caballeros 1944
AT&T “Between Two Worlds”
AT&T’s #BetweenTwoWorlds is the Hispanic movement in their expansive social media campaign #TheMobileMovement, which launched earlier this year. The company began the Hispanic operation in July 2014 as an opportunity to connect and engage bicultural Latinos, particularly digital-savvy millennials.
#BetweenTwoWorlds focuses on the lives of young acculturated Hispanics between their teens and mid-30s, who easily identify with both mainstream U.S. culture and their Latino background. Accompanying the #TheMobileMovement is a Tumblr page similarly featuring Spanglish posts. The two hashtags can also be found on Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram.!/All/

Dunkin Donuts “Dunkin' Latino”
As of June 2014, Dunkin’ Donuts launched its Latino Twitter page, looking to cater to the company’s Spanish speakers. Last year, Dunkin’ Donuts also claimed to be the first national coffee retailer to make its website, mobile, and Facebook platforms available in Spanish and English.
With the social media campaign launch, there was a brief sweepstakes. Fans could follow @DunkinLatino and use the hashtag #MiDunkinEsTuDunkin to enter a chance to win a $100 Dunkin’ Donuts gift card for themselves and a friend. The brand is now supporting their digital Hispanic movement with hashtags such as #MiDunkin and #DunkinLatino.

McDonald’s “Me Encanta”
Back in 2011, McDonald’s introduced its Spanish-language Twitter campaign. @MeEncanta is a Spanglish-based account used to interact with fans about promotional deals through music, sports and education.
McDonald’s Latino movement is currently engaging its online audience with its hashtag #MiMomento. The hashtag, however, has not seemed to catch on yet with many of the posts coming from unrelated tweets.

Supervisors' perceptions of how fairly they are treated by their own supervisors can influence their subordinates' perceptions, attitudes, and behavior. We present a moderated mediation model that demonstrates how work group structure can enhance or constrain these effects.

Results show supervisors' perceptions of the fairness of the interaction treatment they receive relate to their subordinates' perceptions of interaction justice climate, and this relationship is stronger in work groups with more organic structures.

American Rose

Six decades ago, a young black woman sat down for her rights and won her place in the history books. If she had been a man, she may have gotten into a physical altercation and not accomplish anything.

She says she was tired of giving in, so sixty-one years ago today, Rosa Parks took a stand by keeping her seat and was arrested for not giving up her seat to a white passenger.

Medical Technology

I am undergoing a series of medical procedures, which should answer the questions my doctors have raised recently... What's up with that?

Media marvels will be allowing hospital cameras to travel down my throat and also into my intestines for inspection (I've been assured that its not going to be the same camera) these tests, along with a scheduled cat scan ( I don't care for mean cats, or dogs for that matter) are being performed to take a closer look at my digestive system. I am told the stomach is the engine of our body.

Back in 1967 clocks went atomic, and human timekeeping was dependent of the earth’s rotation. The problem is, the planet is slowing down and clocks are not.

So every few years, to get everything back in sync, scientists add a second. They’ve done it 25 times since 1972. The last time was 2012, but that was on a weekend. June 30 will be the first leap second during trading hours since markets went electronic.

Leap seconds are added to Coordinated Universal Time (UTC) - and clocks worldwide - in order to compensate for the slowing of the Earth's rotation.

What ever happened to that iconic American dream 53 years ago today? Was it an MLK elusive dream?

On this date and back in 1963, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. delivered his "I have a dream" speech from the Lincoln Memorial as 200,000 people gathered for a "Freedom March" in Washington DC.

January 6 is the last day for Latinos who celebrate Christmas and Epiphany "Vision of God", which is also known as Three Kings' Day.

It is a Christian feast day that celebrates the revelation of God the Son as human in Jesus Christ. In Western Christianity, the feast commemorates principally (but not solely) the visit of the Magicians to the Christ child, and thus Jesus' physical manifestation to the Gentiles.

Moreover, the feast of the Epiphany, in some Western Christian denominations, also initiates the liturgical season of Epiphanytide.

Laowai in a strange land

Laowai means stranger, or an outsider in the Chinese, Mandarin language. The term is usually and generally used to refer to Westerners or whitey, Latinos, Arabs, Africans, or utilized interchangeably to denote all non-Asian foreigners.

As with the Spanish term Gringo, I'm told that being called a Laowai is not an offensive term. So as I travel throughout China, I have come to accept the fact that my round eyes and excess hair is an easy target to attract this label.

Why Does Hate Continue?

Tolerance, respect, and understanding should be the norm, but acts of hate are reportedly being ignored.

Haters Gonna Hate is a sad and unfortunate catch-phrase which represents another's negative comment. Whatever happened to love thy neighbor as thyself? Do to others as you would have them do to you.

This saying contains great wisdom. It opens our eyes to what life should be about. If we loved, or the very least respected our neighbor as ourselves, there would be peace and prosperity in the world, as opposed to strife and poverty.
