NEMO - This is not a kids animated film. Meaning of Nemo: A Greek boy’s name meaning "from the valley," means "nobody" in Latin. In plain English it means up to 30" of SNOW.

The Big Apple is buzzing with reports of a Nor’easter hitting the area. Thi is is a serious major winter storm, which is expected to impact the Northeast this weekend. As much as two feet of snow is forecast from the New York City metro area all the way to Maine. Wind gusts as high as 60-75 mph will create significant impacts to transportation and power. Coastal flooding is also possible.

Tonight: Upstate New York and parts of New England.

Friday: Snow may begin in southern New England, including Boston, MA and Hartford, CT. It continues over NY state, PA and most of New England. Changing over to rain along southern New England, Long Island, NYC.

Friday night: Heavy snow over New England, Upstate New York and the Lower Hudson Valley. Snowfall rates of 2-3" per hour in coastal New England, including Boston, Hartford, and Portland, ME. Rain along the southeast New England coast develops into heavy snow overnight.

Saturday: Heavy, wind-driven snow continues in New England much of the day along the eastern seaboard. Snow ends in the morning in New York City. Snow finally tapers off in Boston on Saturday evening into midnight Sunday morning.
