MING DYNASTY

Submitted by ub on

The Ming Dynasty has been described by some as "one of the greatest eras of orderly government and social stability in human history". Its immense cultural and political influences were felt not only within East Asia, but also extended over the Turks to the west, and Vietnam and Myanmar to the south. The Renwen Society at China Institute invites you to an extended lecture by Mr. Ma Weiyuan, a leading authority on the Ming era from China, who will capture the 300-year history of the rise and fall of the last ethnic Han dynasty.)
