About Spanish Paradise Through August 21 Gardens of the Alhambra is a feast for the senses, featuring flowing fountains, elegant arches, and a broad palette of Mediterranean plants that evoke the iconic architecture and gardens of
this Islamic palace city—set amid the beauty of the Enid A. Haupt Conservatory. Read the works of poet Federico García Lorca that extol the sights, sounds, and scents of Spain as you stroll the gardens surrounding the Haupt Conservatory. form with live music and performers from various ethnic, cultural, and artistic backgrounds.

Sunday, July 10; 4 p.m. On Conservatory Plaza

The food and culture of the al-Andalus region of Spain as Richard L. King, executive chef of Hundred Acres, prepares a strained saffron gazpacho. Behroush Sharifi—the "Saffron King"—showcases spices that flavor the cuisine.
