Oh, no... Not again? If you look carefully at our live camera, you will probably see light snow and some rain is expected later this afternoon, as winter weather refuses to go away quietly.

This weather continues to cling onto life across our area, producing temperatures well below average that may persist through early next week, according to forecasters.

Temperatures are running five to 10 degrees below normal across the New York area allowing for some snow showers and flurries to fall. The snow isn't expected to accumulate much, if at all, and may mix with or change to rain this afternoon as a small storm system moves through the region, according to National Weather Service forecasters.

Light snow. Little or no snow accumulation. Near steady temperature in the upper 30s. East winds around 5 mph. Chance of snow 80 percent.

Tonight: Mostly cloudy with a chance of light snow in the evening...then partly cloudy after midnight. Lows in the upper 20s. North winds 5 to 10 mph. Chance of snow 40 percent.

Sunday: Mostly sunny. Highs in the lower 40s. Northwest winds 10 to 15 mph with gusts up to 25 mph.

Sunday Night: Mostly clear in the evening...then becoming partly cloudy. Lows in the upper 20s. North winds 10 to 15 mph with gusts up to 25 mph...becoming northeast 5 to 10 mph after midnight.

Monday: Partly sunny in the morning...then mostly cloudy with a chance of rain and snow in the afternoon. Highs in the upper 30s. East winds 5 to 10 mph. Chance of precipitation 50 percent.

Monday Night: Rain and snow likely in the evening...then rain after midnight. Lows in the upper 30s. Chance of precipitation 90 percent.

Tuesday: Rain. Highs in the mid 40s. Chance of rain 80 percent.

Tuesday Night: Partly cloudy. Lows in the lower 30s.

Wednesday: Mostly sunny and breezy. Highs in the lower 40s.
