On Wednesday, July 4, starting at 10:30 AM, please join us for a traditional

Independence Day Celebration, featuring music, speeches, refreshments, reading of the Declaration of Independence, and tolling of the historic St. Paul's church bell - 13 times. Keynote speaker is Hon. Coleen Duffy, State Supreme Court Justice.

On Thursday, July 5, at 7 PM,

A tree grows at St. Paul’s. A talk and walk, led by Jessica Schuler, Director of Family Forest, New York Botanical Gardens, exploring the history and variety of trees at the site.

On Wednesday, July 11, beginning at 10:30 AM, a walking tour of portions of the Split Rock Golf Course, in Pelham Bay Park, site of the Revolutionary War battle of Pell's Point, an important but often overlooked engagement fought on October 18, 1776. Reservations must be made in advance through St. Paul's; space is limited; call 914-667-4116 for details.

On Saturday, July 14, we are open at St. Paul’s, from noon to 4 PM. At 1 PM, James Kaplan, an author and New York City history tour guide, examines the life and military career of General Horatio Gates, including the intriguing question of his role in the great American victory at the Battle of Saratoga. Additionally, there's a performance of American Revolution songs, historic children’s games, and tours of the historic cemetery and Church Bell Tower.
