TEAM USA WINS AMERICA'S CUP

USA won a historic America's Cup victory. Oracle Team USA, on an amazing seven-race winning streak winning the final showdown race in San Francisco Bay today.

An America's Cup that had the look of an embarrassing loss for software tycoon Larry Ellison's American syndicate came down to a winner-take-all race.

Skipper Jimmy Spithill and Oracle Team USA won by steering Oracle's space-age, 72-foot catamaran to its eighth straight victory, speeding past Dean Barker and Emirates Team New Zealand in the winner-take-all Race 19 on San Francisco Bay to keep the oldest trophy in international sports right here in USA.

Longtime City Islander Dick Sadler, who is a former proud member of an America's Cub team took time to speak exclusively with City Island Images today. He described it as the rainbow coalition of sailors, which was representing many nations managed to win this amazing race. Mr. Sadler also pointed out that this what America is really all about.
