New York City Emergency Management has issued a Travel Advisory for Monday, February 9, 2015. The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory from midnight tonight until 6 AM Tuesday.

A mix of sleet and rain is expected this evening and will transition to freezing rain after midnight. This wintry mix will continue through Monday evening and will taper off overnight Monday into early Tuesday morning.

A trace of snow and a total of a tenth of an inch of ice accumulation is expected. New Yorkers are asked to exercise caution when driving and allow for additional travel time, as roads may be dangerous due to the icy conditions.
