Where are those Jobs?

Submitted by ub on

The Bronx has become the NYC Borough of the jobless, with the unemployment rate rising up to 12.3 percent, which is the city’s highest. This is leaving the long-term out-of-work eager to pounce on just about any opportunity that arises. Unfortunately, thousands of Bronx unemployed are getting desperate.

Meanwhile, the President’s plan to reverse the nation’s staggering jobless rate is dead in the water, according to Republicans. Fact is, the odds of his jobs bill holding together when it hits Congress grows longer when the latest details indicate that Obama wants to pay for that $447 billion plan with tax hikes.
