WINTER WONDERLAND?

Submitted by ub on

The cold weather is still with us, but it's warming up. However, drought affecting the NYC region continues to keep moisture away.

Forecasters say a high pressure will remain centered south of the tri-state region through Friday.

A weak cold front crosses the area Friday night, followed by high pressure building down from the Canadian Maritimes into Sunday. A warm front approaches from the southwest

Sunday night, then lifts through the area Monday morning, quickly followed by a cold front late Monday. Canadian high pressure then builds in through the middle of next week.

When will the big snow storm arrive? Not yet folks. Warmer days return this weekend.

Some are already warning, to get ready for an unusually cold winter.
