If granted this interview, ours could be conducted in Spanish, and we will hopefully be discussing several important issues, including The Archdiocese of New York shutting down of our parish school and the possible future closing of St. Mary Star of The Sea Catholic Church.

The NY Archdiocese currently serves 405 parishes in 10 counties, including City Island, The Bronx.

Good balance builds confidence and fosters independence. Working on balance can also bolster your abilities in tennis, golf, running, dancing, skiing, or any number of other sports or activities you love. And good balance can prevent falls, which is important for everyone, sports buff or not. Simply walking around the block requires good balance — as do rising from a chair, going up and down stairs, and even turning to look behind you.

Newer residents of these cities appear to be as unhappy as longer term residents, and yet some people continue to move to these areas. While the historical data on happiness are limited, the available facts suggest that cities that are now declining were also unhappy in their more prosperous past.
