This annual event runs from September 24th thru 29th and it is billed as the largest family reunion in the US. It includes a parade and an amazing street fair, which has been celebrated in Dekalb County, Indiana for 81 years.

The DeKalb County Free Fall Fair is held in Auburn, Indiana, a charming city just north of neighboring Fort Wayne. The festival successfully ran all week, ending Saturday with an interesting parade and an jammed packed American Idol concert.

Oil spills are dangerous because of the release of a liquid petroleum hydrocarbon into the environment, especially marine areas, due to human activity, and is a severe form of pollution.

Oil spill contractors working for National Gird Corporation and under the direction of the US Coast Guard and the NYS DEC, are working to clean up a spill of oil and hazardous materials in Paerdergat Basin, Brooklyn.

The public is advised to avoid fishing and recreational activity in this area until further notice. An odor may also be present in the area.

New York City will soon be getting another attraction. This time it's the world's tallest Ferris wheel, as part of an ambitious plan to draw New Yorkers and tourists to a nearby island. It's Staten Island, the city's forgotten borough.

This 230 million dollar 625-foot-tall Ferris wheel be built on a spot in Staten Island overlooking the Statue of Liberty and visible to the downtown Manhattan skyline, offering a singular view as it sweeps higher than other big wheels like the Singapore Flyer and the London Eye.
