Any way you define it, in the context of the budget debate and the scrambling to avoid $1.2 trillion in automatic federal spending cuts, a lot of money will be separated from those who really who need it.
A couple of hundred of Adolfo Carrión, Jr. closest friends and political supporters gathered at Bronx Museum tonight as he formally launched his campaign for Mayor of the City of New York, representing the independent party.

The deadline is now four days away before $85 billion dollars in spending cuts, which has brought about a massive White House full court press of the impact in the cuts. They are announcing NY 12 thousand job cuts to NY alone. SURPRISE - The initial effects will be felt immediately and get worse.
These sequester effects are set to kick in on Friday, so it leaves The White House and Congressional leaders very little time to prevent all the across-the-bard spending cuts.
Republicans and Democrats will be spending the next few days playing the blame game, just as they've done before.
