The museum of The Bible opened with some controversy, in Washington, D.C., as if our nation's capital did not have enough of it already.

As you can see, the mission is to fascinate, educate and evangelize about The Holy Bible. Located within sight of Capitol Hill, the 430,000-square-foot building includes 1,600 artifacts including Elvis's personal holy book.

The founders wish to inspire confidence in the absolute authority and reliability of the Bible and showcase Christian ideals.

Meanwhile, a legendary American priest is now closer to sainthood. A ceremony to beatify Father Solanus Casey, who died in 1957 and has thousands of Catholic faithful followers. He receives the title “blessed,” which is one step away from Catholic sainthood.

Pope Francis declared there was proof of a miracle after a woman praying at Casey's tomb in 2012 was cured of a rare skin disease.
