GUN VIOLENCE AND CONTROL

Submitted by ub on

While addressing members of the National Urban League last night, President Barack Obama spoke about gun violence for the first time since the deadly shooting in Aurora, Colo.

GOP candidate Mitt Romney has also weighed in on this issue, as well as the Mayor of New York City, and many more are soon expected to follow.

Most everyone agrees that more actions need to be taken to keep dangerous assault weapons from criminals with lengthy rap sheets as well as the mentally unstable. But Congress continues it's opposition to deal with this politically charged issue of gun control.
