The Land Art Generator Initiative (LAGI) invited interdisciplinary teams to submit design ideas for public artwork that can generate hundreds of megawatt-hours of electricity from wind, solar, or other renewable sources. This year’s teams designed site-specific artwork for Freshkills Park in Staten Island.

Over 250 entries were received. An exhibit featuring these entries will be on display at the SoHo Gallery for Digital Art now through the end of October 2012.

The final presidential debate may finally enable Mitt Romney to achieve what he has tried to do with millions of dollars in TV ads and a year of campaigning. He will attempt to convince US voters, who are still on the fence to see him as a strong candidate worthy of consideration.

With 15 days to go until the November 6 election, both candidates will take up foreign policy for their third and last but not least debate, which starts tonight @ 9P.

These political stakes are high, as they are tied at 46 percent each in daily tracking polls.
