According to Frontline on Public Broadcasting Service, the promise of Facebook was to create a more open and connected world.

But from the company’s failure to protect millions of users’ data, to the proliferation of “fake news” and disinformation,  mounting crises have raised the question: Is Facebook more harmful than helpful? This major, two-night event investigates a series of warnings to Facebook as the company grew from Mark Zuckerberg’s Harvard dorm room to a global empire.

FACE OFF

Facebook is a worldwide online social media and global networking service owned by Facebook, but I am over and out of there.

The CBS New Program  60 Minutes says Facebook puts profit over safety and amplifies the worst of human nature.

The platform also owns #Instagram and #WhatsApp, to get messaging and calling for free, available on phones all over the world.

The case for deleting our Facebook account has grown stronger each and every day, so for me, the time came and I went away.

Everyone living in America should know they can formally request the @FCC to investigate any local TV station for the content of their broadcasts. I know because I have held an #FCC license since my first job in broadcasting.

The FCC maintains jurisdiction over the areas of broadband access, fair competition, radio frequency use, media responsibility, public safety, and homeland security. The FCC was formed by the Communications Act of 1934 to replace the radio regulation functions of the Federal Radio Commission.

There is a new Sheriff in town and his name is POTUS. This one is much different than the last one who bowed to Putin. President Joe Biden has announced from The Whitehouse that he has leveled an array of sanctions against the Russian government for placing bounties on USA troops, its attempted interference in the 2020 American presidential election, occupation of the Crimea, and other malign activities by the Communists.

Quid POTUS Quo?

Quid pro quo is a Latin phrase used in English to mean an exchange of goods or services, in which one transfer is contingent upon the other; "a favor for another favor.

POTUS interactions with Ukraine president Zelensky increased in recent weeks following the news that a whistleblower complained about a Trump explosive phone call.

Democrats and Republican Senators have read the whistleblower report and they are hinting that it’s a terrible blow for Donald Trump.

5 G could be scaring the hell out of you and me. The global race for 5G supremacy is not yet won and while It may be important which nations build their networks first, it is certainly not the only factor to consider.

Terminals that already incorporate this technology have been announced, but demonstrations are planned that transcend the classic applications of smartphones, including connected cars, with aids to semi-autonomous driving, and in operation at a distance and in real time.

These applications are due to the special characteristics of this 5G technology.
