The lockup holds offenders awaiting trial, who do not have bail, and individuals serving sentences of less than a year. It has a record of housing popular people, including singers and actors. So, who are the new infamous Riker Island inmates? 

Allen Weisselberg and Harvey Weinstein, who has bee taken to the hospital are locked up there already and Don the Con may wind up there sooner than he may realize.

Special counsel Jack Smith, who is overseeing two federal criminal cases against Trump, asked the U.S. Supreme Court on Monday to deny the disgraced former president's request for immunity from prosecution.

“The president’s constitutional duty to take care that the laws be faithfully executed does not entail a general right to violate them,” Smith wrote in a legal brief.
