Wednesday, January 21st, at 10:00 AM, Chair of the New York City Council Committee on Technology James Vacca will hold a hearing to examine the impacts of the film and television industry in New York City.
The hearing will also include Council Member Steve Levin’s Introduction 84, a bill that would require the Mayor’s Office of Film, Theater, and Broadcasting to release monthly and annual reports, providing more transparency to the community impact of filming in New York City. NYC Media and Entertainment Commissioner, film and television industry representatives and transparency advocates are hereby notified.
