“A Walking Tour of the Anne Hutchinson Homestead:
Where Do YOU Think She Lived?”

The walking tour is free and open to the public.

The walk starts at 10am. Please meet BEFORE 10 outside the Baychester Ave. subway station of the #5 IRT Dyre Avenue Line. We’ll walk around her homestead and then on to where Freedomland was located. (At the halfway, return is by the #30 bus to Boston Rd. & Baychester for those who want to end here.) We continue over the Hutchinson River Parkway Bridge to Bartow- Pell.

At 12:00 the tour ends at The Bartow-Pell Mansion Museum grounds. Choices for return: either by Westchester Bee-line #45 bus to the Pelham Bay IRT Station #6 line; then take the #12 Bus for Pelham Parkway and the Dyre Ave #5 IRT line that stops at Williamsbridge Rd. OR:

Automobiles can park for $2 at the Pelham Bay Golf Course and Leaders will then shuttle to the start at 9:30am. LET US KNOW BY WED., JUNE 22, IF YOU PLAN THIS, SO WE’LL BE SURE TO HAVE ENOUGH CARS AVAILABLE. Bring a bottle of water, sunscreen, bug screen and dress comfortably. The Golf House has a restroom and food.
