DJT PRISON?

Many members of Congress are criticizing a recently introduced GOP bill to rename Dulles  Airport after Trump. How about a Prisin?

Co-sponsors of the bill include GOP Reps. Mike Waltz (Fla.), Andy Ogles (Tenn.), Chuck Fleischmann (Tenn.), Paul Gosar (Ariz.), Troy Nehls (Texas) and Barry Moore (Ala.).

The former guy has four sets of criminal indictments against him as "election interference." - In addition to the hush money case, he faces a federal case of mishandling classified documents. There are also federal and state of Georgia cases over  efforts to overturn his 2020 election loss to President Joe Biden.

While serving as a news reporter in the Sunshine State, I interviewed the convicted Watergate criminals, so we here at #CirtImages have a much better idea.  What about the Florida federal lockdown where all five Watergate burglars - Bernard BarkerVirgilio GonzalezEugenio MartínezJames W. McCord Jr., and Frank Sturgis - were inmates at Eglin Federal Detention Center?

Why? The former guy is facing 91 felony charges, so if the GOP wants to name something after him, I’d suggest they re-brand this more appropriate Florida federal prison.

For the few diehard Trump fans, as part of reaching out to the public the warden is providing Eglin tours for some groups. Base Tours: The Eglin AFB tour program is open from April- October during the calendar year. Tours are ONLY conducted on Thursdays during the hours of 9 a.m. and 2 p.m.

Dulles opened in December 1962 and was named after John Foster Dulles, who served as secretary of state under Republican President Dwight D. Eisenhower from 1953 to 1959. The GOP appears to forget or eat their own after a few years.
