International Women’s Day

Submitted by ub on

Women have changed the world and it is time to man up to show our respect and let them know that we are lost without them.

To all strong and intelligent women everywhere on earth, may the world learn to love and respect you, always. These women in my life inspire me Maria Teresa, Caridad, Margarita, Yirong, Maria, Natasha, Elena, Chloe, Sophia, Sabrina, Olivia... etc.

International Women’s Day pays tribute to the wave of activism with the recurring theme #PressforProgress

The push for gender equality worldwide is a global celebration of the achievements of women worldwide.

International Women’s Day is also a call to action through rallies, panel discussions and other events focusing on equality. Check the International Women’s Day events page for what's happening in your area. https://www.internationalwomensday.com/

There are also downloadable resources for teachers and parents. Meanwhile, a new poll of 27 countries finds 50% of respondents believe women who come forward to report sexual harassment aren’t taken seriously.
