Paranoia and Protection

Joseph Michael Arpaio is a convicted criminal awaiting sentencing as of August 2017. He was the elected Sheriff of Maricopa County, Arizona, from 1993 through 2016.

@POTUS says “I’ll make a prediction: I think he’s going to be just fine.” He traveled Tuesday to Arizona, where he all but promised to pardon disgraced former Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio at some point.
Trump hints that Arpaio pardon will happen Trump strongly hints at pardon for ex-sheriff Arpaio

Arpaio has consistently pledged loyalty to Trump.

Trump also promised to shut down our US government if Congress won’t authorize funding for his Mexico wall.

The “tent city” where Sheriff Arpaio housed inmates still hasn’t been shut down.

Commentary: Pardoning Arpaio would be a travesty upon justice.

And a clarion call to racists, some say.

Also, it would be an insult to those in Arizona who really are worthy of clemency.
