STEAM BATH

USA East Coast will be a steam bath today and storms will pelt the Rockies and Great Lakes region.

Expect showers and t-storms across the U.S., including the Rockies, the Plains and the Great Lakes. T-storms are also moving from the Gulf Coast to the Tennessee Valley, as well as in New England.

THE REGIONAL WEATHER SUMMARY...

TODAY WILL REMAIN GENERALLY DRY...WITH JUST A PASSING SHOWER OR THUNDERSTORM MAINLY NORTH AND WEST OF NEW YORK CITY. EXPECT WARM CONDITIONS ONCE AGAIN...AS HIGHS ARE EXPECTED TO TOP OUT IN THE 80S REGION-WIDE. SLIGHTLY COOLER CONDITIONS CAN BE EXPECTED ALONG THE IMMEDIATE COAST. IT WILL ALSO BECOME MORE HUMID AS DEW-POINTS
RISE INTO THE MIDDLE AND UPPER 60S.

THE FIRST HALF OF THE WEEKEND WILL BE UNSETTLED AS THE FRONT MOVES TOWARD THE COAST AS A COLD FRONT. TEMPERATURES WILL CONTINUE TO BE ABOVE NORMAL FOR THIS TIME OF YEAR.
