People are different, just like a fingerprints everyone of us is extremely unique. Each person represents a one-of-a-kind, DNA combination made up of their family’s ancestry. And every individual experiences life differently. Never judge another human being until you walk in their shoes.

Differences are joyful and sorrowful in personal identity, family backgrounds, nations and languages, cultures. At the same time, differences among people have been the basis for discrimination and oppression for too many years.

Science tells us we share a common ancestry and the differences among people we see are natural variations, results of migration, marriage and adaptation to different environments. How does you consider race differences?

Looking through the eyes of history, science and lived experiences among people reveals the story of race is quite complex and may challenge how we think about human variation, about the differences and similarities among US.
