SHOP WRONG BAKERY

Restaurant

Today I visited a local Supermarket, which takes pride in it's name. Shopping the right way.

My sweetheart wanted some onion and green pepper Foccacia. I asked the clerk if he had any fresh ones and he said they would be making any for a while.

I purchased one with today's date and happily took it home for her only to have her find the bread full of mold and mildew scattered throughout the pie.

What would you do if it was you? New Rochelle Shop Wrong Bakery....NOT EVER, NO WAY!

City Island Lobster House

Restaurant

Turn left once you cross over the City Island Bridge and you will find that the Lobster House offers not much more than good views.

Their service was slow and once the Crab Lobster Feast plate arrived, it was incomplete. The taste of the food was mediocre, but at least they offered large portions and the place appeared to be clean. CITY ISLAND LOBSTER HOUSE 691 BRIDGE STREET BRONX, 10464 718-885-1459

Holiday Recipees

Restaurant

As the holiday season approaches here is one of Sabrina Soto's favorites, Plantains.

I’m pretty sure every Cuban loves plantains. If I’m wrong, please let me know. I’ve been eating plantains since I was a kid and I'm still not sick of them! I love them as tostones (with Mojo or ketchup) and also stuffed with shrimp ceviche (my Mom makes the best!)
