Star Spangled Banner Lyrics

During her less than perfect version of “The Star-Spangled Banner” at the Memorial Cup in Saskatoon last night, Alexis Normand forgot the words around 15 seconds in.

That’s OK. We’ve all seen this happen at a sporting event.

This is the biggest train-wreck version of our anthem ever performed at a sporting event:

Bloomberg says...

Submitted by Admin on

The people who are going to have the biggest problem are college graduates who aren’t rocket scientists, if you will, not at the top of their class. Compare a plumber to going to Harvard College – being a plumber, actually for the average person, probably would be a better deal. Four years spending $40,000, $50,000 in tuition without earning income.

NY KNICKS BASKETBALL

The NY Knicks season has ended with Game 6 loss to Indiana Pacers. They chocked again and this time no we’ll-be-back platitudes.

This is a hurting team. They knew the season ended earlier than they wanted it to and frankly there’s no telling what the Eastern Conference will look like next year when Rajon Rondo comes back, when Derrick Rose comes back, with the Heat being turned up above comfortable temperatures.

Pacers 106, Knicks 99, and these Eastern Conference semifinals, Pacers 4, Knicks 2. Too bad!

ZODIAC CONSIDERATIONS

ARIES (March 21-April 19): Over-reaction works against you if you let anger get the best of you today. Walk away when your temper gets too riled up. A hopping social environment holds exciting romantic prospects. Do some mingling.

TAURUS (April 20-May 20): You aren't entirely happy about keeping a complaint to yourself today but it could be the smartest course of action, at least temporarily. When the time is right to express how you feel, you will know it.
