US Congressman Joe Crowley (D-Queens, the Bronx) is satisfied with a final rule implementing the ruling by the World Trade Center Health Program Scientific and Technical Advisory Committee (WTC-STAC) that certain cancers caused as a result of the September 11th terrorist attacks will be included in the list of WTC-Related Health Conditions and would be covered by the James Zadroga 9/11 Health and Compensation Act of 2010:

He enjoys hitting his peak on the campaign, but it is about feedback.

If Obama is speaking to a crowd that has lost energy in the hot sun, he will deliver his speech and hit the notes and punch his topic points with gusto, but doesn't soar to match his reputation for rhetorical flight.

However, if he has an animated audience indoors and ready to greet him, the result is magical. It is a combination of self-confidence and crowd enthusiasm that seems to almost feed off each other.

In Mitt Romney’s acceptance speech at the Republican National Convention, he took an aggressive stance against Obama. He said “I wish President Obama had succeeded, because I want America to succeed.” The idea of the American Dream was brought up and he talked more about his religion and his family. He tried to convey himself as a person of empathy and good intent. Romney went into detail on how Obama has “failed” in the last four years.

After 611 days of staying away from the gridiron, Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning has an amazingly successful comeback from his multiple neck surgeries and surprises doubters and loyal fans by throwing his 400th career touch down pass in Denver's 31-19 game victory over Pittsburgh Steelers. Manning received a big assist from another big-time free agent and corner-back Tracy Porter, whose 43-yard interception return of Roethlisberger's pass with 2 minutes left and the Broncos clinging to victory.
