The 1906 San Francisco earthquake left a visible gap all along the San Andreas Fault line, which can still be seen today.

Located between the North American Plate and the Pacific Plate, the San Andreas Fault is among the most known active faults on the planet. It was named so after the San Andreas Lake that was formed as a result of the fault, which was discovered in 1895 by geologist Andrew Lawson of the University of California, Berkeley.

New York is full of incredible history, with so many unique things to discover. It was the original capital of the United States, and Manhattan has hundreds of years of history. During some construction in Times Square, workers found an advertisement hidden on the side of a hotel. 

Crimea Doesn’t Pay

The phrase “crime doesn't pay” means that many illegal methods are never beneficial and they often invite serious punishment.

In this particular case, the war criminal has to bear the consequence of his actions in Crimea and Ukraine. It is certainly a kick in the ass and a birthday punch in the face for the shrinking Communist dictator, #MadVlad Putin.

This 12-mile, $3.6 billion bridge opened as the longest in Europe and was a key supply artery for Crimea, which #Russia annexed from #Ukraine.
