A Delta airlines plane skidded off a runway and has crash landed, while landing in NYC at LaGuardia Airport, and the jet is up against a fence.
NY /NJ Port Authority says the MD-80 went off the runway at 11:11A, but thankfully NYFD has reported no major injuries. The Delta plane, Flight 1086 from Atlanta to LaGuardia, slid off the left side of the runway according to Federal Aviation Administration. The accident occurred shortly after 11A as the plane crashed through a fence.
However, since the plane may be leaking fuel, the airport has been shut down. all passengers had been removed from the plane.
