Budweiser Brett SCOTUS?

Submitted by ub on

Following a US Senate historic roll call the voting on Brett Kavanaugh’s nomination to the Supreme Court, and the most divisive nomination in recent years has ended in victory for the Republicans. Following a vote of 50 to 48, Brett Kavanaugh was sworn in as 114th Supreme Court justice in private ceremony at the court.

Some detractors are stating that the tactics used to ram this nomination through the US Senate are a far cry from the advice and consent role the founders envisioned. Also, when Republicans held up the POTUS44 nomination of Merrick Brian Garland who is Kavanaugh's superior as the Chief United States Circuit Judge of the United States Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit. Garland has served on that court since 1997.

The jokes and caricatures are already in full display. Will he bring a new meaning to the term high court?
