Following a series of visits to Johnny’s and Tony’s at the end of City Island, A Slice of NYC Paradise got us to wonder which indoor/outdoor location serves the best New England Clam Chowder.
Since we believe that women are fairer and smarter than men as well as overwhelmingly better cooks than their male counterparts, CityImages took more than 3 generations of women who individually consider themselves worthy judges of good seafood and not only enjoy the outdoors but worship it.
The clear winner is... TONY because the judges agreed the chowder was thicker, tastier and with more clams inside.
Also, some of the judges' comments concerned the need for additional cleanliness in Johnny’s venue.
