Super-storm Sandy slammed into the East Coast on Monday and now as the massive cleanup begins, area residents and business owners are wondering what impact this mega-storm ultimately will have on their lives.

ConEd is reporting 41 thousand people without power in The Bronx alone.
This blackout was brought about as a result of trees crashing and taking down power lines with them.

Flooding is also a great concern, as many citizens are now dealing with water drained basements and the clean up continues. Many City Island residents were extremely busy and finding it a difficult task to pump water out of his flooded cellars, without the benefit of electricity.
