The Eiffel Tower

Submitted by ub on

As I personally enjoyed during my visit to The Associated Press Bureau, anyone and everyone who visits Paris has got to be awed by gazing at the city's image of The Eiffel Tower. To celebrate an anniversary, city fathers and mothers produced a spectacular light show to celebrate its anniversary on Wednesday to mark 130 years since it first opened to the public.

The Eiffel Tower is a wrought-iron lattice tower on the Champ de Mars in Paris, France. It is named after the engineer Gustave Eiffel, whose company designed and built the massive structure. Built for the 1889 World's Fair, the tower soars to 324 meters in height, it weighs 7300 tons.
