They called him the Mexican Al Capone because he was identified as public enemy number one by Chicago law enforcement officials. The last infamous person who won that label was Capone, the kingpin of crime.

His real name is Joaquín Archivaldo Guzmán Loera. The Mexican drug lord headed the multimillion, or billion dollar Sinaloa Cartel.

This was not a regular guy, El Chapo, which means shorty rose from a low-level trafficker from the cradle of Mexico’s opium and marijuana trade, to become the nation’s most powerful and elusive fugitive listed on Forbes magazine list of the world’s richest billionaires.

The word is that El Chapo was careless enough during a computer download and thats how authorities finally caught him.
