After many years of life, here's what I learned:
Time goes by.
Life goes on.
The distance separates.
The children grow up.
Children stop being children and become independent. And the parents' heart breaks but the children separate from the parents.
Jobs come and go.
The illusions, the desires, the low attraction.
People do not do what they should do.
The heartbreaks.
The parents die.
Colleagues forget favors.
The races finish.
But, true friends are always there, no matter how long or how many kilometers or miles we are apart.
A friend is never more distant than the reach of a need, doing a favor for us, intervening in our favor, waiting with open arms or blessing our lives.
When we started life, we never knew about the incredible joys or sorrows that were before us. We did not know how much we would need each other.

El tiempo pasa.
La vida continúa.
La distancia separa.
Los niños crecen.
Los hijos dejan de ser niños y se independizan. Y a los padres se le parte el corazón pero los hijos se van separando de los padres.
Los empleos van y vienen.
Las ilusiones, los deseos, la atracción baja.
Las personas no hacen lo que deberían hacer.
El corazón se rompe.
Los padres mueren.
Los colegas olvidan los favores.
Las carreras terminan.
Mas, los verdaderos amigos siempre están ahí, no importa a cuánto tiempo o a cuantos kilómetros se encuentren.
Un amigo nunca está más distante que el alcance de una necesidad, haciendo barra por ti, interviniendo a tu favor, esperándote de brazos abiertos o bendiciendo tu vida.
Cuando iniciamos la vida, nunca sabíamos de las increíbles alegrías o tristezas que estaban delante. No sabíamos de cuanto necesitaríamos unos de otros.
