Is there no digital justice for a self-proclaimed nice guy? Budwise Brett may become an infamous SCOTUS.
Kavanaugh’s kindness and courtesy, or lack thereof have no bearing on whether he should be confirmed to the Supreme Court.
The stage is set now for an end of the most divisive judicial confirmation battle with the exception of the fight over Merrick Garland, who never even got to the designation because it was too close to an election, so the Republicans make their selection a month before the midterms.
Following allegations and judicial merits notwithstanding, the GOP says their nominee is a really good guy and should really be confirmed to a lifetime position on the Supreme Court for that reason.
The Senate voted 51-49 to limit debate on the nomination of Judge Brett Kavanaugh to the U.S. Supreme Court. Senators Flake, Collins, and Manchin voted in favor of the motion. Senator Murkowski voted against it. A final vote is expected Saturday.
