Real Leaders

Life is too short to work with jerks. Never hire one, don't enable one, or become one.

A real leader has a growth mindset and projects it on their teams... leverages group diversity providing safe environments where all feel comfortable... creates clarity and energizes their groups. The formula is as easy as 1-2-3.

1/ A Google Search finds that managers who have a growth mindset are eager to learn, challenge themselves, experiment, and it eventually boosts their performance.

2/ Managers embrace judgment-free environments and create cover for staff to feel comfortable enough to let down their guard and offer up suggestions, and the team will benefit.

3/ If a manager can not instill a sense of order and create a purpose to their mission, then competing priorities, individual agendas, and confusion will slow the team down and eventually fail to produce.

A colleague often needs a mentor and friend, who is also a great leader indeed.
