No kidding, it's snowing again in New York City. The Big Apple is to receive just under two inches through 7pm Sunday.

This light snowfall across most of the area now should be changing over to freezing rain out west and sleet.

In preparation for a snow, DSNY personnel began initial equipment readiness, including loading of our salt spreaders, attaching plows when necessary, preparing tire chains and notifying supplementary personnel as needed. All relevant city agencies have been notified of the snow alert. DSNY will continue to monitor forecasts and will provide updates as the snow event approaches.
