Spring Fever

There are various definitions of spring, depending on local climate, cultures, and customs. In the Northeastern USA, during winter, the birds fly south. OPINION

I surely was not the only one who woke up to the sweet sound of chirping outside my window. As US voters count down the hours to Super-duper Tuesday to learn who will be the real challenger to a divider, destroyer, and a child who was apparently never taught the difference between right or wrong, or perhaps doe not give a rats ass.

I’m pounding out this blog post thinking about Super-sized Tuesday, which is so near and dear to all Americans who like me can already feel the sweet and early Spring.

As an individual with no political affiliation, as someone who once served as a manager for the Republican Party and therefore can not vote during the primaries, I urge everyone to make sure you are registered to vote and then just to play it safe, ask for an absentee ballot because this time it appears sane voters have theIr best chance of having their voice heard. Beating #KingCon, who is far from being a stable genius has proven to be a battle cry for you and me who rejects the disaster for America.

Remember that distraction is a sure sign of dysfunction. Frame this experience as a learning problem, not an execution. Because the future is uncertain, so emphasize that we’ve got to have everyone’s brains and voices working together.

Chose a president who acknowledges their own fallibilities. A real leader needs to let people know that no one has all the answers that we’re in this together.

Before you cast your ballot. Model curiosity and ask lots of questions.
