The Weak In Review

Submitted by ub on

The one weak leg, which has yet to achieve a final outcome in this busy news week was the high school assault of a nomination for the nation's highest court. This should teach a lesson to all that we must control our actions, regardless of age, or gender.

The allegations made against Judge Brett M. Kavanaugh have set off a national debate about how to address sexual assault.

The week's news cycle was dominated by an allegation made by Professor Christine Blasey Ford that SCOTUS nominee Judge Brett M. Kavanaugh sexually assaulted her when they were teenagers.

Christine Margaret Blasey Ford is a psychology Professor of statistics at Palo Alto University. She is widely published in her field, she specializes in designing statistical models for research projects. She has already spoken with FBI agents and awaits the outcome of an investigation.

Brett Michael Kavanaugh is a US Judge who serves as a United States Circuit Judge of the United States Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit. Interestingly enough, Kavanaugh works for Merrick Brian Garland who is the Chief United States Circuit Judge of the United States Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit. He was a POTUS44 nominee to SCOTUS but was held up by Mitch McConnell’s GOP Senate majority and never received his confirmation hearing.

Kavanaugh accuser Christine Blasey Ford moved 3,000 miles to reinvent her life. It wasn’t far enough.
