It’s getting close to Oscars, so where where are all those nominated women?

Last year, there were six Academy Awards categories with no women nominated whatsoever. This year, it is up to seven. These numbers are unacceptable and increasingly alarming across all categories, 2013 nominees total 140 men and just 35 women. That's not fair, Mr. Oscar!

This film industry grows with 78% of the top-grossing 250 films in 2012 had no women writers, 89% of them had no female directors. WT----?

Hollywood's boys club needs to begin acknowledging that women are excellent writers, directors...etc. Not to mention they represent half the world's population.

If this concerns you, please write to the Directors Guild, the Writers Guild, SAG/AFTRA...etc.
