US forecasters are warning citizens living in and around our nation's most populated region to beware of the coming storm.
The US East Coast has a chance of getting blasted by gale-force winds, flooding, heavy rain and snow early next week as a result of a hybrid of hurricane and winter storm.
The storm is reportedly spooking meteorologists. US scientists predict a 70 percent chance of smacking the Northeast.
Hurricane Sandy in still in the Caribbean, but an early winter storm arriving from the West, along with a frost of arctic air from the North may collide, sloshing and parking over the NYC area starting Sunday. The severe weather may continue into the middle of the week.
